Second Saturdays

Old Episcopal Burying Ground
Led by Marcia Hunter
When St. Benedict formed his first small community of monks in the 6th Century, Italy, and much of Europe, was in disarray.  In the midst of these tumultuous times, Benedict offered his followers a “little rule”, a guide e to show them the way to peace as they learned to prefer Christ above all things. Developing and seeking to live a “ruler of life” now in the midst of our times of uncertainty and upheaval, or at any point of life  is not only useful but a way to find or remain balanced and centered when much around you is not.  This is a way to integrate your daily experience with all of life: body, mind and spirit. Come, gather and learn together how to develop your own rule of life using Benedict’s wisdom and his “little rule” as a guide. Contact Marcia at the church for more information.
