About Christ Church Cathedral

Christ Church Cathedral in Lexington, Kentucky serves a unique downtown ministry in the heart of Lexington near historic Gratz Park. We are a parish of prayer and action, eager to minister to those in our community and our parish.

Christ Church Cathedral is the bishop's seat for the Episcopal Diocese of Lexington, with 8,900 Episcopalians, stretching from Middlesboro to Ashland to Covington.

Our mission is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ as we pray, worship, proclaim the Gospel and promote justice, peace and love.
