Parents register kids for V.B.S. on this site by clicking the “Register Here” link and click on the marketplace button.
Grocery Cards to help J2A Pilgrimage!
Slone’s and Kroger Cards are an easy way to help the youth group fund their 2009 Pilgrimage. When you use your grocery cards, the youth group earns back 4% of the money you spend. J2A members will be available to sell cards and answer questions on May 18 outside the Great Hall.
Want to join the Cathedral Singers Summer Choir?
If you are interested in singing at the 11am service during the summer, come for the first choir rehearsal, Wednesday, May 28, 7pm - 8:15pm in the Choir Rm. - you will sing on Sunday, June 1st.
Commodores, First Friday in June - June 6, 7pm at the OEBG
A picnic at the Burying Ground on East Third St. will be fun!  Bob Voll will tell about recent findings in the Christ Church archives, and the  UK archaeologist report about the Catholic  cemetery.  In addition, he’ll tell about the plans for the new London Ferrell Community Garden.   Please bring a meat, vegetable, or salad dish and a lawn chair.   Dessert, bread and beverage will be furnished. Members and their guests are invitied!

You are invited to attend this period dedication at our burying ground.
EFM Graduation, Tues. May 20, 6:30pm
Everyone is invited to attend the graduation of the 2008 class.  Parishioners from Christ Church that are graduating: Jim Ware, Vera Jones and Ron Parkey.  A reception will follow in the Great Hall.
Jill Plaisted’s exhibit to open May 20th at First Presbyterian, 171 Market St.
Please get by to see Jill’s exhibit before July 20th or you may want to attend during Gallery Hop, June 20 when she will have a reception, 5 - 8pm.
Church Softball Update from the Coach - Nathan Churchill
What a frustrating loss.  We need to get over that one bad inning and hit our cutt-off man.  We will go get them next week at 8:30pm and then have a buy week because of Memorial Day.  Thanks for the fan support from David Blanchett, Sarah Conrad and the Cook Family. 
The Cupboard needs 6 Saturday Volunteers! (one Sat. morning per month)

Books, God, Art & Me Summer Church School Classes
Adult and Youth volunteers needed - sign up sheet at Welcome Center or contact Melissa Bright, 492-1128 or mcbright@insightbb.com or Elizabeth Conrad at the Church.  It is a Diocesan policy that every adult who works with children take The Prevention of Sexual Misconduct class. The class is free and will be offered at Christ Church June 19, 6:00pm - 9:00pm.  Register with Lesa Schoner, 254-4497.
