The Cathedral Commodores will begin a new season on Friday, September 6. Dean Wade will lead the program which will include time to get acquainted with Rev. Kenney Pierce and Emery Buterbaugh, new members of the Cathedral staff. These gatherings are an excellent way especially for newcomers to become better acquainted with the Cathedral community.
Reception starts at 6pm, potluck dinner at 6:30pm, then the program begins at 7:15pm. All you need to bring is yourselves and a meat, vegetable, or salad dish to share. Everything else is furnished including dessert.
All are welcome!
The Cathedral Commodores are adults seeking a deeper relationship with God, each other, and our neighbors. We connect at Christ Church Cathedral and are open to all.
Interested in getting better acquainted with other Cathedral members and meeting new friends? Come to the next Commodore gathering! The Cathedral Commodores provide a great way to meet other members of the Cathedral while also enjoying an excellent meal and an interesting program. (The potluck dinner is the best buffet in town.)
Commodore gatherings typically occur on the first Friday of the month. Programs include a range of interesting topics including visits with the Bishop and Dean, and an annual Derby Celebration.
