Many Beautiful Things: The Story of Lilias Trotter

What role do stories play in our formation?  How can beauty serve as a doorway to truth, goodness, and God?  What does it mean to share the Gospel with the downtrodden?  Join Devin Brown as we explore these questions and learn about the inspiring life of Lilias Trotter, the British painter who gave up fame and fortune to live a life of love.  As part of these talks, we will be watching the film “Many Beautiful Things.”

LIFE WORTH LIVING: 6-Week Class

Beginning Sunday, January 26

Ian Norris and Jason Thompson will lead a 6-week discussion of Miroslav Volf's book, Life Worth Living: A Guide to What Matters Most. We all want to live lives of meaning and purpose. We want to navigate the world in ways that make a difference, in ways that our kids will look back on and be proud of. We want to create patterns of living that make the hassles and heartbreaks of life worth it. In this small group discussion, we'll discuss how we can do that. We often don't get time to think about why we are doing what we are doing, we are merely trying to get from A to B as efficiently as we can. So, for six weeks, we'll consider the why together. Join us to discover what matters most in your life and how to cultivate more of it.
