Love to sing? Join the Cathedral Summer Choir!
Come join a loving and encouraging community of folks that love to sing! The Summer Choir is an integral part of our Cathedral worship. Each Sunday, you will have the opportunity to join the procession and lead our hymns for the service, as well as share the gift of the morning's anthem.
And the great thing? You don't have to come every week to participate. Summer Choir is open to adults and children beginning at age 10. Come when you can and have fun growing your musical abilities in a supportive learning environment and make friends while you're at it!
Rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 9:15am to prepare for the summer service at 10am. We meet in the Choir Room, which is located on the 2nd Floor above the Tilford Room. No auditions are required, just join us in the Choir Room Sundays at 9:15am. Hope to see you there!
Would you like to keep singing after summer is over?
A NEW opportunity is available for volunteer singers this fall!
Beginning in September 2023, the Cathedral Singers, a volunteer choir, will alternate with the Womens Choir to provide choral music for the 8:30am liturgy during the academic year. Some music reading ability and choral experience are helpful but not required. Rehearsals will be twice a month on Thursdays, 6:30 to 7:30pm.
