  • Education for Ministry (EFM)
    Education for Ministry (EfM) is a unique four-year certificate program in theological education based upon small-group study and practice. EfM helps the faithful encounter the breadth and depth of the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world as they study, worship, and engage in theological reflection together. The program invites participants into small, mentored groups that provide the framework for understanding life and shaping actions as Christian faith is deepened. EfM seminar groups meet in local settings and online, and provide a four-year curriculum that develops a theologically informed, reflective, and articulate laity. Interested in learning more?   • Prayer Shawl Knitters
    Knitters provide shawls knitted with prayer for our Cathedral members who are shut in or having surgery or a new baby. Led by the Daughters of the King, we knit at home individually, but come together once a month to knit, pray, and study. Contact Flo Mayer at 299-5552 for more information.

  • The Cathedral Imps
    Saturdays at 8:30-9:15am in the Choir room September through mid-May. The Cathedral Imps is for boys and girls ages 4 through 8. Choristers work on singing skills, basic notation and sight reading, movement and Christian understanding. This is a preparatory choir for the Cathedral Boys and Cathedral Girls choirs.   • ATB Choir
    Wednesdays at 6:30pm in the Choir room Admission to the Alto, Tenor and Bass Choir is by competitive audition. Auditions are normally held each fall. Audition requirements emphasize vocal ability and sight-singing. Students at Transylvania University and the University of Kentucky are particularly encouraged to apply.
