Associate Rector for Young Adults and Families
Christ Church Cathedral, a dynamic downtown cathedral, seeks an outgoing priest to oversee and lead our thriving Young Adults and Families Ministries while having opportunities to engage in all facets of ministry in a large and vibrant Episcopal Cathedral. We are looking for a clergy person who has a passion for congregational ministry and deepening the engagement with our young adults and young families in congregational life.

Position Summary
The Associate Rector for Young Adults and Families will:

Minister to and with our Young Adults and Families.

Shepherding members and seekers in their next steps for spiritual growth and discipleship.

Develop meaningful relationships.

Supervise our full-time lay Youth Minister, who leads ministry for grades 6-12.

Collaborate with the Director of Christian Education for Children and Adults.

Support the Lay Coordinator for Pastoral Care who oversees our volunteer pastoral teams.

Being an integral member of the Team in preaching, teaching and pastoral care.

Have familiarity with digital tools to connect with young adults, families, and new audiences.

Creatively work with young adults and families to develop fun and meaningful activities and ministries that grow faith and relationships among young adults and young adult families.

Work collaboratively with leaders to create three-year goals and one-year benchmarks for Young Adults and Family ministries.
