A Monastic Experience, with John Brice
John Brice will discuss his weeklong participation in the monastic life at the Abbey of New Clairvaux, a Cistercian monastery located in the Sacramento Valley. John will share both the rigor and spiritual reward, as well as the profound sense of calm and inner peace he experienced while being totally disconnected from the world at large.

The Episcopal Church's Ecojustice Programs, with Matt Strange
Matt Strange will discuss his grant work as a Fellow in The Episcopal Church’s Ecojustice Fellowship program and as a climate ambassador for Blessed Tomorrow, a multi-faith cam- paign to address climate change. The focus of the presentation is to help equip and empower Episcopalians to have difficult conversations about climate change and the effects the coal in- dustry has had on our environment in Kentucky.
